Do you have a vehicle you love and that you would like to protect, but just don’t have time to properly detail it?

When was the last time it was detailed professionally or even waxed?

A Clay & Seal is a great option for you if you have never waxed or detailed your vehicle before.

Our Level 3: Clay & Seal Package includes everything from our Level 1 and Level 2 Packages, but adds Chemical Paint Decontamination, Claybar Treatment, and Exterior Trim Conditioning.

Our Level 3: Clay & Seal Package will decontaminate your paint from embedded iron, brake dust, rail dust, and other contaminants clinging onto your paint impeding it’s ability to shine, making your paint feel rough, and reducing the life of your wax.

By choosing this service over a regular Wash & Wax, you will be providing a clean slate for your wax to adhere to and thus allowing it to protect your paint and keep it shining longer and better.

Usually, the life of the wax is doubled than if you choose a Wash & Wax.

OUR CLAY & SEAL PROCESS

1. Clean wheels, tires, and fenders with a variety of brushes to reach all areas.

2. Snow foam entire vehicle with shampoo.

3. Thorough hand wash of vehicle including cleaning the door jambs, gas cap, and remove bugs off front end and mirrors.

4. Apply Iron Decontamination Chemical to paint and rinse.

5. Spray Clay lube and Claybar vehicle.

6. Apply a layer of wax or sealant to all painted surfaces by hand for shine and protection.

7. Dress tires to make them shine.

8. Clean exterior glass and windows to give you crystal clear vision.

This service is great when paired with our Interior Steam Cleaning or Interior Shampooing Addon.

Can you come to me?

Yes, we’re mobile-based so we can come to you! We service the Central Piedmont North Carolina area such as Seagrove, Robbins, Asheboro, Biscoe, Greensboro, Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Candor, Troy, etc…

What kind of wax do you use?

We use only the highest quality products that provide the best shine and longevity. There are a few brands we like to use such as Meguiar’s, CarPro, P&S, and Griot’s Garage. So it comes down to what we’re working on and what we decide is best fitting. Our go-to choice currently is Griot’s Garage Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax.

How Long will the wax last?

It all depends on where you store your car and how often it’s driven, but expect 6 to 12 months of protection. How you wash your car also affects the wax’s life. Drive-thru touchless car washes often use harsh soap and chemicals that will strip the wax right off the paint, so always try to maintain it using correct washing techniques and the right chemicals to get the most life of the wax (ask us about our Maintenance Package).

What's The Difference between this and a Wash & Wax?

In a Wash & Wax, your vehicle will be washed, cleaned, dried, and the wax will be applied on top, but there will be iron deposits and other contaminants in your paint that cannot be removed from a normal wash process. Those contaminants limit how well the wax bonds onto your paint, thus affecting the wax’s life. They also make your paint feel rough and limit it’s shine. A Clay & Seal will remove those contaminants providing a clean and smooth surface for the wax to adhere to providing a car show shine.

Do you need access to water or power?

Yes. At the moment, we do not have a generator or water tank, but we are working towards obtaining one in the near future.

Does this remove scratches from my paint?

Applying a wax will hide the micro-light swirls and scratches in your paint. They’re essentially “filled in” with the wax which creates more shine. So technically it does hide the really light scratches, but it does not actually remove any of them.

Nonetheless, your paint will look much glossier because the wax creates a more “flat” surface.

How long does this service take?

It depends on the vehicle’s condition and size, but generally it will take 2-4 hours.
